20/03/13 Charlotte has been invited to take part in the Groningen Night of Arts and Science in June. For the show she will be in conversation with Hans Clevers - super stem cell scientist in the Netherlands.


06/03/13 Charlotte's stem cells have started growing! The cells are part of her Ergo Sum project. The date of this show has been changed to September 14th in Leiden.

06/12/2012 Charlotte has won the Designers and Artists for Genomics Award. The project Ergo Sum will use Stem Cell Research to create a 'second-self' to live in the gallery. The project is being made in collaboration with Christine Mummery and the Netherlands Proteomics Centre


23/10/2012 Charlotte is thrilled to be through to the final of the Designers and Artists for Genomics Award. The project proposal will be using Stem Cell Research.


27/09/2012 Charlotte has started working on a new bio-art collaboration with Nick Goldman from the European Bioinformatincs Institue and the Sanger Institute. The project will use new technology enabling a musical recording to be stored in DNA.


27/09/2012 Charlotte and James have been commissioned to make a documentary by the Netherlands Proteomics Centre. Filming will start in December.

20/12/2011 Charlotte is thrilled that her piece Blighted By Kenning (apples infected with knowledge) has been commissioned by the Netherlands Proteomics Centre. Work will start in the new year leading up to a presentation to 200 researchers the Netherlands in February and a solo show in Suffolk in July.


11/11/2011 AuxIn a synthetic organism Charlotte collaborated with Imperial College to develop was awarded 1st place at the European round of iGEM and was placed 2nd at the international final at MIT. The project was also awarded the iGEMers prize - voted for by the participating teams.
